Grace Feeney is a completely normal, beautiful little girl. However, due to an incident right after birth that deprived her brain of precious oxygen, she now has special needs. With damage to certain parts of her brain, she is cortically blind, has profound motor deficits and suffers from seizures. Grace requires constant stimulation and input to feel involved in her environment. As a result, attention is required almost 100% of the day by her family and caregivers. Grace has an inability to self soothe and must rely on others to meet this need.
